PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (March 20, 2024) — The National Auto Body Council Body® is proud to announce that  G&C Auto Body of California has joined the collision repair industry’s premier philanthropic organization as a level one partner. As a level one partner, G&C Auto Body and its team members will work alongside an elite consortium of collision repair facilities, rental car companies, parts and materials providers, insurance companies, automotive recyclers, salvage companies, towing companies, industry consultants and more to serve communities across the country with programs that help change and save lives every day.

“We are honored to welcome the G&C organization and the Crozat family to the National Auto Body Council® as a new level one partner, and we look forward to growing our relationship with them,” said Scott Sampley, chairman of the NABC®.  “G&C and Shawn Crozat were 2003 winners of the NABC® Changing and Saving Lives Award. Their contributions to the NABC® have been many and we expect they will continue that tradition and grow their legacy on an even more significant scale now.”

The Crozat family has refurbished and gifted more than 100 vehicles in the communities they serve.  Their commitment to public service began with Shawn’s father, company founder Gene Crozat, and has expanded when the second generation, including Shawn and his siblings, took the helm. G&C Auto Body serves 13 counties of central California with more than 30 locations.

Shawn Crozat takes understandable pride in his company’s commitment to service.

“G&C has a legacy of supporting and giving back to our communities,” he said. “We have worked with NABC® and the NABC® Recycled Rides Program for a long time, and during that time we have been a part of changing the lives of more than 100 families.  We feel it is important to step up our support to change and save more lives in all the places where we work.”

ABOUT THE NATIONAL AUTO BODY COUNCIL®

The National Auto Body Council® is the premier organization of collision industry partners dedicated to strategic networking opportunities that positively change lives in the communities we serve. The collaborative membership of the National Auto Body Council® has gifted more than 3,500 vehicles and provided extrication opportunities for some 5,500 First Responders in communities around the country through NABC Recycled Rides®, NABC First Responder Emergency Extrication (F.R.E.E.™) and the NABC® Community Impact program. That effort equates to a 4:1 ROI in dollar value delivered from NABC® membership dollars. The NABC Changing and Saving Lives Foundation, a 501c3 organization, is committed to the goal of driving change for veterans, military members, first responders and families in need, while harnessing the power of the collective membership of the collision repair industry to positively impact communities where we live and work. As demand for NABC® programs like NABC Recycled Rides® and NABC F.R.E.E.™ grows, so do the needs for resources to manage these important programs. Being able to pursue grants, gifts and donations allow NABC to expand these programs to serve those in need and help communities where we live and work.
