PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (November 15, 2024) – At the 2024 NABC® Annual Meeting, the National Auto Body Council® held its board elections for the upcoming year. In addition to re-electing four members whose terms were expiring, it also welcomed three new members to the National Auto Body Council® Board.
RUCKERSVILLE, VA (October 21, 2024) – Nearly 80 first responders from Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina gathered last week at the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) for a unique education program designed to provide them life-saving rescue techniques to help save accident victims in late-model vehicles.
PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (October 20, 2024) – On Thursday, October 10, 2024, a single mother in need experienced a life-changing event – the presentation of a vehicle to provide her critically needed transportation – thanks to the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides® program, along with car donor Allstate and collision repair partner Oka’s Auto Body of Waipahu, HI. Oka’s Auto Body is a member of the Certified Collision Group (CCG).
PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (October 19, 2024) – On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, a single mother in need and her teenage daughter experienced a life-changing event – the presentation of a vehicle to provide both of them critically needed transportation, independence and the ability to get to work and school – thanks to the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides® program, along with car donor Automobile Club of Southern California and collision repair partner Ben Clymer’s The Body Shop of Moreno Valley, CA., whose technicians fully and beautifully refurbished a 2020 MINI Countryman.
PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (October 9, 2024) – On Wednesday, October 9, a veteran in need from High Point NC, experienced a life-changing event – the presentation of a vehicle to provide him independence and the ability to take care of his family – thanks to the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides® program , Allstate, Sherwin Williams, and Maaco. The presentation is part of a monthly event where Richard Childress Racing, in partnership with the charity Veterans Bridge Home, provides breakfast for more than 250 North Carolina veterans through their program “Veterans Coffee”.
DALLAS, TX (October 9, 2024) – On Tuesday, five Dallas families experienced a life-changing event – the presentation of reliable transportation to help them get to work, school and family activities, all part of the 2024 Driven Brands Collision Conference featuring the Abra, CARSTAR and Fix Auto USA collision repair brands. Through the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides® program, GEICO donated all five vehicles, and CARSTAR handled the repairs at the CARSTAR Campbell’s Auto Body, CARSTAR Mansfield Paint & Body, CARSTAR MVP Farmers Branch, CARSTAR MVP Richardson and CARSTAR Mr. Collision locations. Abra and Fix Auto USA, which don’t have repair locations in the area, helped stuff the trunks with much-needed items and gift cards for the recipients and their families.
Memphis, TN (October 1, 2024) More than 40 first responders from the Memphis, TN, Fire Department and surrounding areas donned their rescue gear for a hands-on demonstration of the latest techniques in emergency vehicle extrication, preparing them to provide the best response for car accident victims in Memphis, all thanks to Memphis Fire Department, Allstate Insurance, Farmers Insurance and HURST Jaws of Life and the National Auto Body Council® F.R.E.E.™ program.
