NABC® Members Allstate, Gerber Collision and PPG Combine to Donate a Refurbished Vehicle to Orlando-area U.S. Army Veteran through the NABC Recycled Rides® Program

PORT CHARLOTTE, FL  (April 8, 2025) – On April 7, a veteran of the U. S. Army received a life-changing gift—a beautifully refurbished vehicle to help him and other veterans in their recovery from the effects of war.  The NABC Recycled Rides® program and its partners Gerber Collision and Allstate worked together to make the donation, and the presentation was sponsored by PPG at its PPG MVP conference at the Omni Amelia Island resort.

NABC® Recycled Rides® Gifting at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Gave U.S. Army Veteran Karlton Berry the Green Flag to Regain His Independence through a NABC® Recycled Ride® with Adaptive Controls to Continue His Path to Independence

PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (July 22, 2024) – On Sunday, July 21, a decorated U.S. Army veteran who was paralyzed in a training accident experienced a life-changing event – the presentation of an adaptive vehicle to provide him independence – thanks to the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides® program along with event host PPG, car donor Allstate and collision repair partner North Park Collision Center of San Antonio, Texas. Additional support was provided by partners Paralyzed Veterans of America, Freedom Mobility Foundation, Lockheed Martin, Mobility Works, Burnside Express Collision and Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

CHARLOTTE, NC (May 24, 2024) – On Thursday, May 23, two U. S. Army veterans experienced a life-changing event as part of a special NABC® veterans celebration presented by PPG during Military Appreciation Month. The veterans and their families were presented vehicles to provide them independence and continue their journey – thanks to the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides® program along with presenting partner PPG, car donor GEICO and collision repair partner Classic Collision.
