PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (September 9, 2025) – Nearly 100 first responders from more than a dozen rescue units from Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Maryland donned their gear at the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety in Ruckersville, VA for a hands-on learning experience teaching them how to rescue accident victims from late-model vehicles – life-saving skills that are critical when minutes matter most., all thanks to IIHS, GEICO, Allstate, Farmers, Nationwide, Travelers and Hurst Jaws of Life® and the National Auto Body Council® F.R.E.E.™ program.

Crash Champions of Avon, OH, Local First Responders Learn New Rescue Skills to Help Make Avon Drivers Safer on the Road Through National Auto Body Council® First Responder Emergency Extrication (F.R.E.E.™) Program

Avon, OH (July 19, 2025) –  A dozen first responders from the Avon Fire Department and surrounding areas donned their rescue gear for a hands-on demonstration of the latest techniques in emergency vehicle extrication, preparing them to provide the best response for car accident victims in the Cleveland area, , all thanks to Crash Champions, Avon Fire Department, Nationwide Insurance, Genesis Rescue Systems and the National Auto Body Council® F.R.E.E.™ program.

NABC®, Nationwide and Crash Champions Donate NABC Recycled Ride® Vehicle to a U.S. Army Veteran in Need atAutomotive Body Parts Association (ABPA) Business Conference

PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (May 23, 2025) – On Wednesday, May 21, a U.S. Army veteran was honored with a life-changing gift—the donation of a beautifully refurbished vehicle.  The donation was made possible by the NABC Recycled Rides® program, insurance partner car donor Nationwide and repair partner Crash Champions. The presentation was sponsored by NABC member ABPA in conjunction with the ABPA Business Conference at the Westin Hotel in Sarasota, Florida.

NABC®, Nationwide and Crash Champions Gift Refurbished Vehicle to Single Mother in Need Through the NABC® Recycled Rides® Program

PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (April 25, 2024) – On Wednesday, April 24, a Phoenix-area mother of four experienced a life-changing event – the presentation of  a vehicle to provide her the ability to take care of her family – thanks to the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides® program along with car donor Nationwide and collision repair partner Crash Champions Collision Scottsdale. The event was sponsored by NABC® member Auto Body Parts Association (ABPA), which held its annual meeting and business conference at the Scott Resort, Scottsdale, AZ. Since 2017, the ABPA has sponsored NABC® Recycled Ride® presentations at each of its annual conferences, helping to give back and change lives throughout the country.
