Special Modifications: This was a barn find in West Virginia. It was in pretty rough shape. It is a total frame-off restoration. The only modification is 6 voltage upgraded to 12 voltage. Everything else is reconditioned to original. Every nut, bolt and part was reconditioned or replaced. A lot of missing parts were remanufactured in my shop. I rebuilt the motor, transmission, rear, brake system and the electrical system. Did all the body work. I remade some chrome strips. Made truck ready for final paint and chrome. I designed and built the wooden body by myself. I am a retired firefighter and work in my shop on old cars n trucks 5-7 days a week as a hobby with little previous experience. Special Modifications: I’m judging this category, but wanted to share my own project with my Dad. This was a complete off-chassis restoration with original parts. The engine was rebuilt with all original parts, too. It was built in our den while my Dad’s shop was being finished. The whole family worked on it. The body was all hand-finished and it has lacquer paint.
