Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Convertible

Year: 1973

Brand of Paint: PPG

Special Modifications: The vehicle was completely restored using all original VW parts. The original mileage is 70,464. When we purchased the vehicle in 1989 the car had been painted candy apple red. We restored the finish back to the original Sunset Orange in 2009. the interior, top and dash had been replaced prior to our purchase.

Tell Us Your Story! My wife Paula had a blue VW Karmann Ghia Convertible when I met her in 1982. The vehicle was sold shortly after that. Paula had always wanted another Karmann Ghia Convertible and in 1989 Paula saw an ad in the paper with this unit for sale. We drove to Dallas and it was “Love at First Sight”. I knew the moment she saw it we would be buying the car. The rest is history, the car runs and drives really well and we have a lot of fun with it!
