NABC Recycled Rides® Testimonials

Christine Messano

NABC Recycled Rides® Recipient

Thank you so much! I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done throughout this journey. From the very first phone call to today, you’ve been incredibly responsive, encouraging, and instrumental in making this blessing possible.

The gifting ceremony was absolutely amazing (I’m still on cloud 9), and Arthur and his team went above and beyond. The care, craftsmanship, and generosity that went into restoring the vehicle were evident in every detail. My children and I are overwhelmed with gratitude.

Please extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who made today possible! To you, Arthur and his incredible team at Fix Auto USA Castro Valley, Carly, Allstate, Cars for Charity, Driven Brands, the technicians, sponsors, volunteers, and every individual who had a hand in this incredible gift. It really took a community of compassionate people to make this happen, and we are forever grateful.

Thank you for believing in families like mine and for the work you do every day through NABC. This gift is so much more than a vehicle. It represents hope, stability, and a fresh start for my children and me. It has changed the trajectory of our lives.

Thank you again for sharing the news story and for celebrating this moment with us. It means more than you know.

May God richly bless each and every one of you for the kindness you’ve shown our family. We will never forget it.

I wanted to personally express my sincere gratitude to you and everyone involved with the NABC Recycled Rides® Program for the incredible gift I will be receiving on June 8th.

As an Army veteran, receiving this vehicle means far more than transportation—it represents hope, independence, and the opportunity to continue rebuilding my life. Reliable transportation has been one of the biggest barriers to becoming fully self-sufficient, and this gift will remove that obstacle in a way that will have a lasting impact on my future.

I am especially grateful because I have recently accepted a new position as a Peer Support Specialist with a nonprofit organization. In this role, I have the privilege of serving female veterans and first responders who are navigating their own journeys of recovery, resilience, and self-sufficiency. Having dependable transportation will allow me to better serve these women, meet them where they are, and walk alongside them as they work toward their goals.

Your generosity is creating a ripple effect. The vehicle you are providing will not only help me continue moving forward in my own life, but it will also help me support others who are working hard to overcome challenges and build brighter futures for themselves.

Please know that I do not take this gift for granted. I am deeply honored, humbled, and thankful for the kindness and support shown by the National Auto Body Council, your partners, and everyone who made this possible.

Thank you for believing in veterans and for investing in opportunities that truly change lives.

Program Supervisor, Health Families Program

Thank you so much for all the work surrounding our families receiving a Recycle Ride. From the very first point of contact, to sending and receiving the possible nominations, all the way to the moment the families received their vehicles, this was such an organized process with excellent communication between everyone involved.

The event itself was beautiful, and so much joy was shared that afternoon. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this happen. This has truly been a life-changing experience for the three moms, and it was such a joy to be part of this journey.

We are incredibly grateful for your kindness, support, and dedication throughout this entire process.

Thank you again for everything.

Words cannot fully express how grateful we are for the incredible gift you have given our family. Receiving this vehicle has truly been life-changing, and we are beyond thankful for your generosity, kindness, and hard work in making this possible.

Having reliable transportation means the world to us. It allows us to get to work, take our children to school and activities, and handle everyday necessities without the stress and uncertainty we previously faced. Your program has not only provided us with a car it has given us independence, stability, and peace of mind.

We also want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who played a role in making this possible, from the donors to the mechanics and volunteers who put their time and effort into ensuring the car is safe and ready for us. Your dedication to helping families like ours is truly inspiring, and we feel so blessed to be part of this wonderful program.

Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts. We will cherish this gift and use it to build a brighter future for our family.

We are grateful for the relationship we’ve built with the team at the NABC. Your partnership especially in providing transportation for our veterans is truly uplifting to the soul. The NABC is a community partner who has chosen to come alongside us and help turn what once felt like an impossible dream into reality for a struggling veteran and fills our hearts with gratitude. Your support strengthens the work we do every day to prevent and end veteran homelessness. We empower veterans and their families through housing, comprehensive services, and advocacy.

Thank you for believing in our mission, our veterans, and the power of partnership.

Some 13 years ago, we witnessed our first NABC Recycled Rides® gifting at SEMA. We went back home, talked with our GEICO rep, joined the NABC®, and the rest is history. In September 2025, we held our 13th NABC Recycled Ride® gifting event, and presented our 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st vehicles to four deserving veterans. We’re proud to give back to our community through NABC Recycled Rides®.
