PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (September 24, 2026) – On Wednesday, September 23, two deserving active duty Marines experienced a life-changing event – the presentation of a vehicle to assist them as they work and care for their families – thanks to the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides® program along with vehicle donors Allstate and the Interinsurance Exchange of the Automobile Club of Southern California and repair partners All Magic Paint & Body and Longo Toyota, a member of the Penske family of dealerships.

The presentation was held at Collision Next 2026 at the Hilton Anaheim in Anaheim, CA.   The event brings together shop operators, owners and industry leaders to have conversations about competing at a higher level.

At the event, two fully refurbished vehicles were presented to two U.S. Marines in need. (full bios below):

“The NABC brings together the constituents of the collision repair industry to have a mission and one of those binding missions is NABC Recycled Rides®,” said NABC Chairman Tom Wolf.

Victoria Cook-Minshue receiving her NABC Recycled Rides vehicle at a presentation at Collision Next 2026 at the Hilton Anaheim in Anaheim, CA

Victoria Cook-Minshue has served in the U.S Marine Corps since 2024.  Unfortunately, she is currently facing one of the most difficult chapters of her life, while raising her eight-month-old son as a single mother.  Despite financial challenges, Cook-Minshue remains focused on providing a safe, stable and loving environment for her son, who she describes as her greatest motivation and the reason she continues to move forward each day.   The strain of being a single parent has made purchasing a reliable vehicle simply unattainable at this time.  Cook-Minshue is determined to rebuild her life and create a brighter future for her son.  She continues to serve our nation with dedication while doing everything possible to ensure her son is cared for and has every opportunity to succeed.  She embodies the resilience, selflessness and determination that define our military community.  This vehicle from the NABC Recycled Rides® program will make an immeasurable difference in the lives of this deserving Marine and her young son.

“This vehicle is such a blessing,” said recipient Victoria Cook-Minshue.  “It will allow me to have more independence, I can go to the store when I want, I can get to work, and I can care for my baby.  It is amazing.”

Robert Mongan, Jr. receiving his NABC Recycled Rides vehicle at a presentation at Collision Next 2026 at the Hilton Anaheim in Anaheim, CA

Robert Mongan, Jr. is an active-duty U.S. Marine who has proudly served our nation for the past seven years.  Throughout his military career, he has demonstrated dedication, professionalism and a commitment to accomplishing his mission.  In 2025, Mongan deployed to Japan and has been recognized for his service with several awards, including Letters of Appreciation, the Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.  He is currently facing a significant personal hardship as he navigates a divorce leaving him without a vehicle, while his four-year-old son remains in his care.  This leaves Mongan without reliable transportation at a time when he is taking on the responsibilities of being his son’s primary caregiver.  He is now assuming the added financial responsibility of full-time childcare while navigating the expenses of divorce and establishing a new household.  These unexpected financial burdens have made purchasing a reliable vehicle impossible.  This refurbished vehicle from the NABC Recycled Rides® program will be truly life-changing for Mongan and his son.

“Wow, I can’t believe this gift,” said recipient Robert Mongan, Jr.  “This will help me get my son to school and sports and get to work.  I’m really honored to receive it.”

Those in the community can support this life-changing program in two ways – donate to the program directly or donate their unwanted or non-running vehicle through the Changing and Saving Lives Keys for Change program. They will receive a tax donation for their contribution, and proceeds will help provide reliable transportation for those in need across the country – and in their community.

Additional partners in this presentation include: Enterprise, PPG, LKQ, AkzoNobel, Lobo’s Towing, Image Auto Glass, Axis Local, Midway Rental, KP Automotive, Jim’s Towing, PPG, Penske Motor Group, Longo Lexus, Advanced Remarketing Services, Cars for Charity and Copart.

Allstate, a Level One partner of the National Auto Body Council®, has donated more than 300 vehicles to people and organizations through the NABC Recycled Rides® program, making it one of the largest vehicle donor partners of NABC Recycled Rides®.

The Auto Club of Southern California is a AAA-affiliated reciprocal insurer providing auto, home and other insurance products to Auto Club members in California.  They have donated dozens of vehicles to Southern California residents in need.

All Magic Paint & Body has been serving the good people of Corona, Moreno Valley and the surrounding areas for over 31 years.  They are proud to provide the best auto collision repair in California and a place where you and your car always come first.

Longo Toyota is the largest car dealership in the world, spanning over 50 acres (the size of 38 football fields) in El Monte, California.  Founded in 1967, it has held the title of the #1 volume Toyota dealer in the United States for 58 consecutive years, housing an on-site inventory of more than 1,600 vehicles.

Since the inception of the NABC Recycled Rides® program in 2007, members of the National Auto Body Council® have donated more than 3,850 vehicles valued at some $69 million.
