PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (February 20, 2025) — The National Auto Body Council® announced it will host its annual Dallas golf fundraiser at a great new course for 2025 – Bear Creek Golf Club West Course. The NABC® Lone Star Changing and Saving Lives Golf Fundraiser will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025 and will feature a NABC Recycled Rides® presentation, four-person scramble, and awards reception. It is a great opportunity to join industry colleagues and customers for great golf and support the NABC®! And, of course, there is the opportunity to win bragging rights on the course, great raffle prizes and auction items!
In 2025, all golf events are held through the Changing and Saving Lives Foundation®, making sponsorship and golf donations tax-deductible for companies and participants. The NABC® Changing and Saving Lives Golf Fundraisers provide an opportunity to join industry colleagues and customers for great golf and support the NABC®! Through the foundation, proceeds will benefit families in need, military members, veterans and first responders, and help fulfill the mission of harnessing the power of the collective membership of the collision repair industry to positively impact communities across the country.

New Course Offers Challenging Layout
Bear Creek Golf Club’s two spectacular championship layouts – the West and East Courses – were designed by noted golf course architect Ted Robinson in the old style, leaving the terrain completely natural. Lush stands of mature oak trees frame undulating Bermuda fairways and manicured greens, in perfect balance with nature – with deep roughs, expansive bunkers, and an abundance of sparkling water features creating both strategic diversity and a picturesque backdrop for golf. Dramatic views add to the tranquil ambience of the courses, both of which offer multiple tees on each hole to accommodate golfers of all abilities.
Thanks to its remarkable golf, superb amenities and unmatched guest service, Bear Creek has been recognized by Golf Digest as one of the “Top 50 Resort Courses in America; by Avid Golfer as the “Best Place To Host A Corporate Event;” and by The Wall Street Journal as one of the “10 Great Places to Golf.” The club has also played host to numerous amateur and professional golf events, including PGA TOUR Qualifiers, the Texas State Open, the AJGA National Tournament, the PGA National Golf Series, and NTPGA Sectional tournaments.
