Pittsburgh Veteran & Mother Receives the Gift of a Refurbished Vehicle Thanks to Allstate, Body by Cochran and the NABC Recycled Rides® Program

PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (April 21, 2026) – On Tuesday, April 21, a seven-year veteran of the U.S. Army and mother of two received a life changing gift — a beautifully refurbished vehicle as she continues to work while helping her fellow veterans.  The donation was made possible by the NABC Recycled Rides® program, vehicle donor Allstate and repair partner Body by Cochran (a Certified Collision Group Affiliate).

The presentation took place at #1 Cochran Mazda North Hills located in Wexford, PA.  The recipient was nominated by the Veterans Leadership Program.  VLP serves over 8,000 veterans annually throughout 30 counties in Pennsylvania, New York, and Ohio with housing, wellness, career development and supportive services.

“I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone that helped make this possible,” said recipient Martha Hari.  “I truly, truly appreciate this vehicle, not only because it provides me with transportation, but it gives me independence for myself and my kids.”

A 2023 Honda CRV, donated by Allstate and refurbished by the technicians at Body by Cochran Butler County, was presented to Martha Hari.  Sheis a U.S. Army veteran who served her country proudly from 2015 to 2022.  Martha served 7 years in the Army Medical Logistics Command, received several medals of merit and was honorably discharged. Hari is a single mother of two wonderful young children.  Her previous vehicle is no longer working nor repairable.  Without reliable transportation, she has had to rely on friends, family and ride shares to get to work and take care of her children’s needs.  Martha’s job working with veterans requires her to travel in order to assist and make routine visits.  This refurbished vehicle from the NABC Recycled Rides® will allow her to continue caring for her children while also helping her fellow veterans.  She is an extremely reliable, hardworking, focused individual who much deserving of this gift.
