Presentation of the NABC Recycled Ride® Took Place August 4, at the Pinnacle Financial Partners Office in Memphis, TN

PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (August 4, 2026) – On Tuesday, August 4, a young woman from Memphis, received the gift of reliable transportation — a beautifully refurbished vehicle that will help her continue to care for her children and serve her community. The donation was made possible by the NABC Recycled Rides® program, vehicle donor Allstate and repair partner Carey’s Body Shop, with support from Enterprise.
The presentation, sponsored by Pinnacle Financial Partners, took place at the Pinnacle Financial Partners office located in Memphis, TN. Pinnacle Financial Partners, which is a level one member of the NABC, provides a full range of banking, investment, trust, mortgage and insurance products and services designed for businesses and their owners and individuals interested in a comprehensive relationship with their financial institution. This is the fourth NABC Recycled Rides® presentation on the Memphis campus, to go along with two NABC First Responder Emergency Extrication training events that have also been held there. It provides an amazing opportunity to engage the Pinnacle team members in giving back where they live and work.

The recipient was nominated by Agape Child & Family Services. They are a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing children and families in the Memphis area with healthy homes through holistic, wrap-around support. Serving more than 10,000 individuals annually, the organization employs a comprehensive poverty-reduction strategy that addresses family stability from multiple angles.
A 2022 Nissan Altima, donated by Allstate and refurbished by the technicians at Carey’s Body Shop, was presented to Eriyana Brown. She is a young woman from Memphis, who works full-time and has been promoted because of her tremendous work ethic. Although she does not have a reliable vehicle, Brown has managed to get to work on time every day. She often volunteers at outreach events to serve the community, such as the School Store, Turkey Store and Christmas Store. Brown has been working on a college degree at the University of Memphis, but transportation has been an issue, so a reliable vehicle will help her return to classes. Additionally, she successfully completed Agape’s Becoming ONE Program for single unmarried individuals that teaches skills to have a healthy relationship. After completing the training for individuals, Brown was invited to become a certified facilitator, which means she can facilitate the evidence-based curriculum “Within My Reach” as part of the Agape program. She has facilitated several workshops since she received the training. Brown is also a big help to her family and often makes sacrifices to help meet the needs of the family. This refurbished vehicle from the NABC Recycled Rides® program will help her continue her education and guide those in her community.
“This NABC Recycled Ride® means everything to me, this is what I needed,” said recipient Eriyana Brown. “This vehicle is the motivation and dedication that I was looking for to be able to continue my dream of going to college and finishing out strong to get that degree I need. This is a way for me to continue with the work ethic I’ve always had and I’m very grateful and thankful for this opportunity.”
Those in the community can support this life-changing program in two ways – donate to the program directly or donate their unwanted or non-running vehicle through the Changing and Saving Lives Keys for Change program. They will receive a tax donation for their contribution, and proceeds will help provide reliable transportation for those in need across the country – and in their community.
