PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (October 17, 2025) – On Friday, October 17, a mother of two form Central Florida received a life-changing gift—the donation of a beautifully refurbished vehicle to help as she looks to strengthen her family’s foundation. The donation was made possible through the NABC Recycled Rides Program and CARSTAR.  The vehicle being gifted had belonged to the mother of NABC and Changing and Savings Lives Foundation Executive Director Debby Robinson and was donated through the Changing and Saving Lives Foundation.

The presentation took place at the CARSTAR Auto Body Resurrection location in Lakeland, FL.  The recipient was nominated by One More Child.  One More Child provides Christ-centered services to vulnerable children and struggling families, locally and globally.

“I have been involved with NABC Recycled Rides in some capacity for nearly 20 years and am committed to getting our recipients on the road in reliable transportation,” said NABC and Changing Lives Foundation Executive Director Debby Robinson.  “I have never been more proud than to donate my mother’s vehicle to help a deserving recipient and her children continue their path to independence.  My mother always worked to give back in her community and she would be honored to be a part of today’s gifting.”

Nantita Seoane is a single mother of two children from Florida.  She has relied on the kindness of others, public transportation and rideshares to meet all her family’s needs.  Seoane has worked with the One More Child Anti-Trafficking Mobile Team program, consistently exceeding expectations and has achieved remarkable goals, showing great perseverance and dedication.  The donation of this vehicle will be life-changing for the Seoane family.  This refurbished vehicle from the NABC Recycled Rides® program will provide them with reliable transportation, giving Seoane the freedom to get her children to school, enjoy family outings and establish a stronger foundation for them all.

“I’ve been through a lot, I’ve been through domestic violence, I’m here from Thailand, I don’t have family here in the United States,” said recipient Nantita Seoane after receiving her refurbished vehicle.  “I’ve reached all my goals, moved from one job to another job that’s even better.  This vehicle will allow me to finally be able to take my kids wherever they want to go.  It’ll be a lot of fun.”

CARSTAR is part of the Driven Brands family of automotive brands and is an I-CAR Gold Certified network.  CARSTAR Auto Body Resurrection has refurbished and gifted more than 15 vehicles for people in need in Central Florida.
