PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (August 14, 2025) – On Wednesday, August 13, a young man in need received a life-changing gift—a beautifully refurbished vehicle that will enable him to get to work and take care of his family.  The donation was made possible by the NABC Recycled Rides® program, vehicle donor Farmers and 1st Choice Collision, an I-CAR Gold Class repair facility.

The vehicle, a 2021 Nissan Rogue, was donated by Farmers and refurbished by the technicians of 1st Choice Collision in Houston.

“For me, it was a really awesome experience to see Anthony’s face and to see his family enjoy the car,” said Oswaldo Munoz, General Manager at 1st Choice Collision in Houston.  “For them getting into the car and driving it away was a really amazing experience for me and my team.  We’re really thankful and hope Anthony enjoys this car with his family.”

Anthony Huynh-Tu grew up in an abusive environment filled with pain and instability.  He has overcome those adversities to care for his mother and her medical needs, along with his two brothers.  For Huynh-Tu, the NABC Recycled Rides® vehicle will be a life-changer.  It means consistency, reliability, and peace of mind.  It will allow him to get to work without added stress and ensure his family gets the care they need to succeed in life.  Huynh-Tu was nominated for the NABC Recycled RidesÒ program by Fort Bend Family Promise, mobilizes an interfaith network of local congregations to help families regain their housing, their independence and their dignity.

“I’m excited to be here today and just want to say thank you to everybody at 1st Choice Collision, Farmers and everyone involved with the NABC Recycled Rides® program for this car,” said Huynh-Tu.  “It’s going to help with transportation, not only for me getting to work, but also taking my mom to her appointments and helping my brothers get to school as well.  I can’t wait to use this car to help us get where we need to go.”
