NABC® Members GEICO and Faulkner Collision Center Donate a Refurbished Vehicle to a Deserving U.S. Air Force Veteran through the NABC Recycled Rides® Program

The NABC Recycled Rides® Presentation Took Place Recently in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

PORT CHARLOTTE, FL  (March 17, 2025) – On March 14, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force received keys to a newly refurbished vehicle through the NABC Recycled Rides® program and its partners Faulkner Collision Centers and GEICO. The donated vehicle, a 2018 Toyota Camry, stands to change the life of Kailen Kreiser.

The vehicle was donated by GEICO and refurbished by the technicians of Faulkner Collision Center in Lancaster.

Kailen Krieser served her country on deployment to the Mideast and was decorated with the Global War on Terrorism medal and several others.  She is a single mother dealing with medical issues and taking care of her young son. Krieser is relocating and has been in real need of a vehicle to make that possible and to get to her and her son’s appointments.

Faulkner Collision Center is the only fully certified BMW, Porsche, Tesla and Volvo certified repair center in Lancaster County, but its technicians can work on all makes and models.  Faulkner is an I-CAR Gold Certified repair facility and was named the 2024 National Shop of the Year by BMW.

April Lausch, Faulkner Collision Center manager, explained, “Faulkner takes seriously our role in the community.  Being a part of this NABC Recycled Rides® vehicle donation is one of the most important and most gratifying thing our team can do.”

GEICO is the largest donor of vehicles to the NABC Recycled Rides® program, having donated more than 1000 vehicles since 2007.

NABC Recycled Rides® is a unique program in which businesses representing all facets of the collision repair industry team up to repair and donate vehicles to individuals and families in need of reliable transportation. Since the inception of the NABC Recycled Rides® program in 2007, members of the National Auto Body Council® have donated more than 3,500 vehicles valued at some $51 million.

Additional partners in the NABC Recycled Rides® presentation included LKQ, Lancaster Toyota, Advanced Remarketing Services, Cars for Charity, Copart, and Enterprise.
