PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (July 6, 2025) – Recently, a single mother in need of transportation received the gift of a fully refurbished vehicle—thanks to the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides® program, along with vehicle donor GEICO and collision repair partner Danilchuk Auto Body.

GEICO donated the vehicle and the skilled technicians of Danilchuk Auto Body fully refurbished it. The recipient was nominated by Woman’s Money Matters, a Boston charity that helps empower women and girls to improve their financial health to create a more secure future for their families and communities.
At the presentation event at the Danilchuk location in East Boston, representatives of NABC®, GEICO, Enterprise, and Danilchuk handed over the keys to the 2018 Hyundai Sonata to Jazzmine Williams, who works as a behavioral therapist and is raising a teenage daughter. She works with autistic children, providing supportive services, including in-home services. Williams and her daughter recently moved to a safer area, but she has no access to public transportation. Her car broke down nearly two years ago and she has been using ride shares, which made it impossible to save for a vehicle.
Williams has overcome numerous obstacles to earn her college degree and to enter a field where she can make a difference. She has taken part in the Women’s Money Matters program, learning money and credit management skills, which she is passing on to her daughter. Women’s Money Matters nominated her for the NABC Recycled Ride®. Williams will now be able to increase her hours at work and stop paying for rides and delivery services. Most importantly, the vehicle will allow her to have more quality time with her daughter.
GEICO has donated more than 1000 vehicles through NABC Recycled Rides, making it the largest donor in the program. GEICO is a level one member of the National Auto Body Council.
Danilchuk Auto Body is a family-owned business which has been serving the Boston area for almost 40 years. Whenever there has been an opportunity to help the community, they have always found a way to participate.
NABC Recycled Rides® is a unique program in which businesses representing all facets of the collision repair industry team up to repair and donate vehicles to individuals and families in need of reliable transportation. Since the inception of the NABC Recycled Rides® program in 2007, members of the National Auto Body Council® have donated more than 3,500 vehicles valued at some $51 million.
Additional partners in the NABC Recycled Rides® presentation included Calibra Calibrations, Todisco Towing, D and M Auto Doctor, Kemperle, Parts Authority, Carmela’s Market, Balloon City, Orient Heights Yacht Club, Advanced Remarketing Services, Cars for Charity, Copart, and Enterprise.
