NABC® Members GEICO and Caliber Collision Donate a Refurbished Vehicle to an Indianapolis-area Single Mother in Need through the NABC Recycled Rides® Program

PORT CHARLOTTE, FL  (April 20, 2025) – On April 16, a single mother from central Indiana experienced a life-changing gift —the donation of a beautifully refurbished vehicle—thanks to the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides® program, Caliber and GEICO.

The vehicle, a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica, was donated by GEICO and refurbished by the expert technicians at Caliber Collision Indianapolis North. It was presented to Emiley Eaton who was nominated for the NABC Recycled Rides® program by the non-profit Concord Neighborhood Center.

Without a car since an accident in December, it has been a challenge for Emiley Eaton to juggle transportation to work, day care and routine tasks such as grocery shopping. As the sole provider for her young son, Emiley has worked hard to ensure a better quality of life for her child and herself, transitioning from food service to healthcare where she earned certification as a clinical medical assistant.

Over the past 12 years, Caliber Collision and its industry partners have donated more than 600 vehicles to military service members, veterans and other individuals in need of reliable transportation. All Caliber locations are I-CAR Gold Certified repair facilities.

GEICO, a Level One Partner of the National Auto Body Council®, has donated more than 1000 vehicles to people and organizations in need through NABC Recycled Rides®.

NABC Recycled Rides® is a unique program in which businesses representing all facets of the collision repair industry team up to repair and donate vehicles to individuals and families in need of reliable transportation. Since the inception of the NABC Recycled Rides® program in 2007, members of the National Auto Body Council® have donated more than 3,500 vehicles valued at some $51 million.

Additional partners in this NABC® Recycled Rides presentation included Advanced Remarketing Services, Cars for Charity, Copart, and Enterprise.
