PORT CHARLOTTE, FL  (December 17, 2024) – A St. Louis resident experienced a life-changing event –the presentation of  a vehicle to provide her independence and the ability to continue her work for young people – thanks to the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides® program along with car donor Farmers Insurance and collision repair partner Bill Knight Collision of Tulsa, Oklahoma, part of the Open Road/Car Crafters Collision Network.

NABC®, Farmers and Bill Knight Collision presented a fully refurbished 2017 Chevrolet Traverse to Denise Quinn, a very deserving residential care giver, nominated by Boys Hope Girls Hope Scholars of St. Louis.

Denise Queen gives herself tirelessly to 20 Boys Hope Girls Hope Scholars, a residential program that offers young men and women with high academic potential a safe place to learn. Her title is residential care giver, and the care she gives goes well beyond her job description, always encouraging the residents and providing a role model of service to them.  Denise has not been able to afford a car since losing one in an accident that was not her fault. This NABC Recycled Rides® donated vehicle will allow her to get to work without having to depend on others or public transportation and will enhance her ability to get to errands and appointments.

Bill Knight Collision operates seven locations in Tulsa and Stillwater, Oklahoma. They take pride in their one-on-one relationships with customers.  They have been voted an “A-List” business by the readers of Tulsa People Magazine, based on their reputation for quality repairs, excellent technician training and a positive shop culture.

NABC Recycled Rides® is a unique program in which businesses representing all facets of the collision repair industry team up to repair and donate vehicles to individuals and families in need of reliable transportation. Since the inception of the NABC Recycled Rides® program in 2007, members of the National Auto Body Council® have donated more than 3,500 vehicles valued at some $50 million.

Additional partners in the NABC Recycled Rides® presentation included Copart, Enterprise, Advanced Remarketing Services and Cars for Charity.
