PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (December 28, 2024) – On, December 23, a young man from the Bismarck area experienced a life-changing event–the presentation of a beautiful 2021 Chevrolet Traverse to provide him means to get to work and to take care of his family–thanks to the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides® program along with car donor Farmers Insurance and repair partner Abra Auto Body.

Tyler Bachmeier receiving his NABC Recycled Rides® vehicle

Tyler Bachmeier is a young man with a wife and brand-new baby boy. Tyler has worked his way through many life challenges and setbacks. He credits his faith with enabling him to turn his life around over the last three years. He works hard to support his wife and son.  His car was totaled in an accident, and it has made it difficult for him to get to work. This NABC® donated vehicle ensures that he can drive to work and church and have a reliable vehicle for his family as he works to improve his financial situation. Tyler Bachmeier was nominated for the NABC Recycled Rides® donation by New Song Church of Bismarck.

Abra Auto Body Bismarck has three locations in North Dakota and is owned and operated by the Buller Automotive Group of dealerships and repair centers, as well as being associated with one of the largest and most respected national brands in the collision repair business, Abra.

NABC Recycled Rides® is a unique program in which businesses representing all facets of the collision repair industry team up to repair and donate vehicles to individuals and families in need of reliable transportation. Additional partners in the NABC Recycled Rides® presentation included NW Tire, Advanced Remarketing Services, Cars for Charity, Copart, and Enterprise.
