PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (September 23, 2025) – On Thursday, September 18, a Houston-area single mother received a life-changing gift—the donation of a beautifully refurbished vehicle to help her as she travels to work and cares for her child. The donation was made possible by the NABC Recycled Rides® program, vehicle donor GEICO and repair partner Black Tie Collision.
The vehicle, a 2022 Hyundai Venue SEL, was generously donated by GEICO and refurbished by the technicians of Black Tie Collision. The presentation took place at the Black Tie Collision location in Houston.
“Black Tie Collision has shown time and time again that we can mend anything, from a shattered heart to the first light of dawn,” said Damon Shifflet, Manager of Black Tie Collision in Houston. “Ms. Charlotte’s heart has been restored, made whole once more.”

Charlotte Giesler is a single mother of a young child with a learning disability. When she joined the Professional Women’s Group (PWG) at Dress for Success Houston last year, she had just completed their job search program and secured a position as an auditor with the University of Houston Systems. It was a significant accomplishment for a single mother caring for a child recently diagnosed with a learning disability. But, without access to a vehicle, Giesler has to rely on public transportation to get to work, attend appointments and participate in Dress for Success programs. She is deeply committed to her growth and to being a role model for her child. This refurbished vehicle from the NABC Recycled Rides® program will be transformational, avoiding lengthy commutes on public transportation. This vehicle will give her the freedom and flexibility she needs to thrive, both as a professional and as a parent.
The recipient was nominated by Dress for Success Houston. Since 1998, Dress for Success has been dedicated to the mission of empowering women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and development tools to help women thrive in work and life.
“We’re grateful to partner with Black Tie Collision, GEICO, NABC and Dress for Success to
provide a beautiful 2022 Hyundai Venue to a very special woman,” said Mike Fatter, Director of
Replacement Sales at Enterprise Holdings. “Thankful to all the collision techs at Black Tie
Collision for making this day possible.”
