PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (March 8, 2026) – On Tuesday, March 3, a single mother received a gift of a lifetime—the donation of a beautifully refurbished vehicle as she works to care for her young family. The donation was made possible by the NABC Recycled Rides® program, vehicle donor GEICO and repair partner Caliber Collision.

The presentation took place at the Caliber Collision location in Hickory, NC. The recipient was nominated by the Women’s Resource Center. The Women’s Resource Center empowers women to self-sufficiency and stability by providing resources, mentorship, and education.

“We are deeply grateful to GEICO and Caliber Collision for restoring more than a vehicle, they helped restore hope,” said Michelle Morgan, Executive Director, Women’s Resource Center. “One of our amazing clients received a vehicle through the NABC Recycled Rides® program and it was truly a day we will never forget. This gift is more than a car. It’s freedom, dignity, and a fresh start.”
A 2021 Ford Ecosport S, donated by GEICO and refurbished by the technicians at Caliber Collision, was presented to Brittany Cline. She has worked hard to overcome multiple adversities and build a better life for her and her two children. She is now working full-time and successfully managing her finances and her children’s schedules. This refurbished vehicle from the NABC Recycled Rides® program will help her continue on the path to stability for her and her family.
GEICO, a Level One partner of the National Auto Body Council®, has donated more than a thousand vehicles to people and organizations through NABC Recycled Rides, making it the largest car donor partner of NABC Recycled Rides.
