PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (December 23, 2025) – On Thursday, December 18, a Wisconsin veteran received a life-changing early Christmas gift—the donation of a beautifully refurbished vehicle to help expand his options for employment.  The donation was made possible by the NABC Recycled Rides® program, car donor GEICO and repair partner Caliber Collision.

Ben Price receiving his 2020 Honda CR-V EX, donated by GEICO and refurbished by Caliber Collision

The presentation took place at the Caliber Collision located in Kenosha, WI, where the technicians of Caliber Collision donated their time and talents to refurbish the vehicle.

The recipient was nominated by Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin.  Based in Racine, WI, Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin (VOW) works to make a difference in the lives of at-risk veteran households in every community across Wisconsin.

A 2020 Honda CR-V EX, donated by GEICO and refurbished by Caliber Collision, was presented to Ben Price.  He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served from 2008-2015.  This reliable vehicle will significantly impact his entire world.  It will expand his options for employment and give him the ability to visit family, especially his mom, more often.  Having reliable transportation will allow him to travel when he starts school next fall and give him the ability to travel to his medical appointments and other personal obligations.  This refurbished vehicle from the NABC Recycled Rides® program will help as Price looks to better his life and allow him to visit and care for his mother who is currently dealing with ALS and in declining health.

GEICO, a Level One partner of the National Auto Body Council®, has donated more than a thousand vehicles to people and organizations through NABC Recycled Rides, making it the largest car donor partner of NABC Recycled Rides.

Caliber Collision, also a Level One partner, has donated more than 600 vehicles to military service members, veterans and other individuals in need of reliable transportation over the last 12 years.  All Caliber locations are I-CAR Gold Certified repair facilities.

NABC Recycled Rides® is a unique program in which businesses representing all facets of the collision repair industry team up to repair and donate vehicles to individuals and families in need of reliable transportation.  Since the inception of the NABC Recycled Rides® program in 2007, members of the National Auto Body Council® have donated more than 3,500 vehicles valued at some $51 million.
