PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (November 10, 2025) – On Thursday, November 6, a Cleveland-Area man received a life-changing gift—the donation of a beautifully refurbished vehicle to help as he continues caring for his children.  The donation was made possible by the NABC Recycled Rides® program, vehicle donor Travelers and repair partner Action Collision Repair, a member of the CollisonRight network of collision repair facilities.

Robbie Keeler receives his 2021 Honda Civic, donated by Travelers and refurbished by Action Auto Body

The presentation took place at the Action Auto Body location in Euclid, OH.  The recipient was nominated by the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.  The Greater Cleveland Food Bank, a member of Feeding America, provides nutritious food and essential resources so their neighbors in the community facing hunger can thrive.

“We’re proud to support the NABC Recycled Rides® program and help make a make a positive impact on our local community,” said Jody Barto, Regional Manager, CollisionRight.  “Thanks to the incredible work by the teams at Action Collision and Chardon Square Tire & Auto, this vehicle is now in great condition and ready to provide reliable transportation for Mr. Keeler and his family.  Partnerships like these show the power of our industry coming together to give back and make a difference in someone’s life.”

A 2021 Honda Civic, donated by Travelers and refurbished by Action Auto Body, was presented to Robbie Keeler.  He is a father of two teenage boys, hoping to find better employment and a higher income to care for his family.  Keeler currently uses a ride share to travel to his job at a fast-food restaurant and works as many hours as possible, while maintaining time to care for his children.  Keeler’s job allows him to pay rent and keep food on the table but does not provide him the ability to purchase a vehicle.  To save money, he walks home every night after a long shift to save as much money as possible.  Keeler is hopeful he can work his way into a management position at his current job or even find better employment further from home.  This refurbished vehicle from the NABC Recycled Rides® program will give him the independence he needs to take care of his children and the ability to work towards higher income and a more stable way of life.

Travelers, a level one member of the NABC®, has donated close to 100 vehicles to people and organizations in need through the NABC Recycled Rides® program.

Action Auto Body, an I-CAR Gold Class network, offers comprehensive accident repair services that will meet the customer’s satisfaction.  Their certified technicians use the latest technology and manufacturer parts to restore any vehicle to its original condition.

Additional partners in this presentation include: Solar Solutions, AutoZone, C-Auto Glass, United Towing Services, Chardon Tire & Brake, Classic Auto Group Wholesale Parts, Enterprise, Copart, Advanced Remarketing Services, and Cars for Charity
