PORT CHARLOTTE, FL (November 26, 2025) – On Monday, November 24, a Bentonville woman received a life-changing gift—the donation of a beautifully refurbished vehicle.  The donation was made possible by the NABC Recycled Rides® program, vehicle donor Farmers and repair partner Brown’s Collision Center.

The presentation took place at Brown Collision Center located in Bentonville, AR.  The recipient was nominated by the Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas.  The Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas hopes to empower single parents in Northwest Arkansas to create brighter futures for their families by providing direct financial assistance and supportive services to those pursuing higher education in Benton, Carroll, Madison and Washington counties.

“I believe that it’s a responsibility to be able to share the blessings that we’ve been given on this earth,” said Keith Brown, owner of Brown’s Collision Center.  “It’s not quite Christmas, but it is the season of giving and we are glad that we are able to help others out.”

A 2019 Honda CR-V, donated by Farmers and refurbished by Brown’s Collision Center, was presented to Joie Cureton.  She works while also attending Northwest Arkansas Community College nursing school full-time and raising her son.  Cureton was previously using rideshare services to get around, which were both expensive and unpredictable.  This refurbished vehicle presented as part of the NABC Recycled Rides® program gives her a sense of relief knowing she can continue furthering her education, while also caring for her son.

“I just want to thank the NABC Recycled Rides® program, Farmers and Brown’s Collision for donating this vehicle to me and all the work that went into refurbishing it,” said Cureton. “It’s going to make me and my son’s life so much easier.  And finally, I’ll be on time.”

Farmers, a level one member of the NABC®, has donated numerous vehicles to people and organizations in need through NABC Recycled Rides®.
